Before you begin

The terms “you” and “your” refer to the user of the Platform. As part of our services, Users can interact with each other on chat, voice and video calls and play interactive games.

By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy. We reserve the right to modify, amend or change this Policy at any time.

The Platform offers certain features for free, with some upgraded features available for Users who purchase coins (“Coins”). We reserve the right to change parts of this Policy at any time. In the event of any such policy changes, we will provide the User adequate notice.

What are the different currencies available on FRND?

Users can purchase Coins by choosing from various Coin Packs. Users can also earn Yellow Roses, a form of currency that can be redeemed in exchange for money that can be directly added to a User’s bank account. Yellow Roses can be earned by creating training rooms and training other Users. Once a User hosts a room, they gain Yellow Roses for every minute they spend on the call with other Users.

The conversion rate for one Yellow Rose varies, based on the “Badges” a User holds. The Badge tiers range from Normal to Gold and the conversion rate increases as a User continues to engage with the Platform, becoming a power user and earning more Badges.

Purchase and use of Coins

Coin price is displayed at the point of sale and is inclusive of applicable taxes. Once payment is made, the User’s account is credited with the number of Coins purchased. Please find more details on Coins below:

• Coins allow Users to play games on the Platform and license virtual gifts (such as yellow roses) to gift to other Users, or license digital goods (such as DP frames, stickers, banners and wallpapers) to customise their profiles, avatars or ongoing calls.
• Coins are not legal tender and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of credit, or used for trading on the internet.
• Coins can only be used on our Platform and as a part of our Services.
• Coins cannot be combined or used in conjunction with promotions or other special offers, except those explicitly designated by us.
• Coins do not constitute property and cannot be sold, transferred, bartered or assigned to any User or any other third party, even for circumstances such as a User’s death. Only we reserve the right to sell Coins on the Platform.
• We have the sole right to manage, regulate, control, modify or remove any Coins, in cases where we have reason to believe that the User has violated this Policy, any other platform policies or any laws that are in force at the time of the violation.
• A unit of Coins will expire after six months of purchase.
• The Coins get extinguished once a User deletes their account.
• To learn about their Coin purchase history, Users can download invoices from the Coin Order History section on the Platform.

Purchase and use of Gifts

Gifts are acquired on the Platform by redeeming Coins available on a User’s account. A User can send or receive gifts from other Users on the Platform. Please find more details on Gifts below:

• Gifts constitute a limited licence to certain features of digital products and services on the Platform.
• The conversion rate for each gift is displayed on the Platform at the point of sale and is inclusive of taxes.
• Gifts sent or received by a User are not legal tender and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of credit.
• Gifts can only be used on our Platform and as a part of our Services.
• Gifts cannot be combined or used in conjunction with promotions or other special offers, except those explicitly designated by us.
• Gifts exchanged between Users are not transferable.

Billing and payment methods

The User can choose to pay by any UPI, wallet, bank card, net banking, or any other modes of payment as may be specified on the Platform.
